When we receive jewelry with stones, we assess both the metal and the stones. Smaller stones (chips) may not have a resale value, but larger diamonds of good quality (usually over 0.20ct) are always valued separately.
Do you have certificates (GIA, HRD, etc.)? Please include copies of these as they facilitate the valuation and can increase the price.

The 4 Cs - What determines the price?
When we value a diamond, we look at four main factors (The 4 Cs): Carat (weight), Cut, Color, and Clarity. Based on these, we can offer a fair and market-based price.
- Carat (Weight): How big is the stone? Larger stones are significantly rarer.
- Clarity: Are there inclusions or is the stone completely clear?
- Color: Is the diamond completely white (colorless) or does it have a yellow tone?
- Cut: How well does the stone reflect light? A good cut is crucial for the luster.
Do you have a certificate from GIA, HRD, or IGI? It is a valuable document that facilitates the valuation and often leads to a better price. Please feel free to send a copy or the original along with your stones.
Which stones do you buy?
We primarily buy diamonds, but also other gemstones like sapphires, rubies, and emeralds if they are of high quality and set in gold jewelry. Small stones (so-called "chips") under 0.05ct often have no resale value of their own, but are included in the gold valuation. Larger stones (solitaires) are always valued individually.

What applies when selling jewelry with stones?

No, we do not charge any fees. Everything from ordering the envelope to valuation is completely free of charge, and you are not committed in any way.
You can sell all forms of gold, jewelry, watches, or other products. Even silver as long as it has a fineness of 830 or higher.
